From my view point, the latewood bands on the wooden floor makes it appear to be southern yellow pine.Am I correct? Where in your house is that?
Pine indeed, though still plywood. Someday we'll have a finished floor.
Wonderful shot! Who doesn't want to do that on a nice, sunny day?

Most plywood these days are made from southern yellow pine. Back in our parent's and grandparent's day, most plywood was made from Douglas fir.That concludes your forestry lesson for today. :)
3ft to the left of this picture is a piece of fir plywood.
